STEP 2: SAFE TEST WITH PROMETRIC

• Make an appointment and complete your Safe Test with Prometric.

• Request an account and check your results on the NMLS database after 72 hours.

STEP 3: APPLICATION

• Submit your payment and MU4 application with NMLS.

• To qualify, you must pass both a credit and a background check.

STEP 4: STATUS

• Request ‘approved-inactive’ status for licensing on the NMLS website.

STEP 5: AFTER OBTAINING A LICENSE

• You need to establish a relationship between yourself and “Layton Financial Services Corp” with NMLS. Please login to your NMLS account and update your company affiliation to 'Layton Financial Services Corp’ - License # 1922806. (Please be sure the name matches exactly.) If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact NMLS directly as they are the best point of contact for direction.
